SummaryFrom Monday, April 23rd to the Wednesday, April, 25th our team painted the University of Texas Arlington campus with both flyers and posters to promote the free advanced screening of the “Five Year Engagement” courtesy of Walgreens. The University also sent out an electronic announcement through various lists and electronic communications to raise awareness about the promotion. When a student came to pick up the tickets we asked for their student ID and collected their name, email address and student id number. This allowed us to send a reminder correspondence to them leading up to the event. On all days of activation, Consumer interactions as well as ticket distribution picked up steadily each day and peaked as the team greeted students heading to their classes on campus. The response from campus community was incredible. Overall, consumers were eager to receive their free tickets to the Movie! By the 25th, all 500 tickets were distributed. On the night of the screening, we had a full house. Each attendee was greeted by one of our brand ambassadors and encouraged to interact with out contemporary photo booth. Once their pictures were taken, they then got a print and had an email of the photo sent to them. Following that, attendees were treated to a red carpet experience, with branded graphics and interactive paparazzi silhouettes which reminded all of them, they were the stars! Upon entry, the attendees were thanked for coming and a special shout out was given to Celeste, the SWAG grand prize winner who, by winning, brought this event to the campus community. Celeste was treated to VIP seats for her and her friends and popcorn and snacks. The promotion truly resonated with the students on campus and reminded them of where the best place to buy all of those items college students need the most, Walgreens!
